Great Blue Lobelia (Lobelia siphilitica)

 

Great Blue Lobelia is quite a versatile garden plant, growing in sun to partial shade & likes soil to be on the moist end of the spectrum. Providing the woodland garden with bright blue in late summer where the flowers cover the thick, tall spike and are quite dramatic when grown in large clumps.
